Hope Hopped Across the Miles









Miss Hope Hare happily hopped into the mail yesterday on her way to a darling, talented girl many miles from here.  I used two strands of boucle alpaca blend yarn to knit Hope's fur and like it better than the other bunny fur I've made out of one strand of acrylic or alpaca on size six needles.

Now I am hoping to finish the pumpkin before Thanksgiving :)

    Gracie that little bunny is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. You did a wonderful job and that is going to be a happy little girl when she arrives. The pumpkin looks like it's going well too.

    That bunny is ADORABLE! How nice of your friend to send that yarn to you. Good for you on the pumpkin, too. Can't wait to see it done! I'm almost done with my first Limpet mitt.. now to make a 2nd one. It's not perfect, but the pattern is challenging! See you in the pool on Monday.

    I'm hoping that the mitt I'm knitting for Mr. M will fit! The yarn I'm using looks exactly like your pumpkin yarn - mine is an old-ish skein of Stitch Nation Full O'Sheep which has unfortunately been discontinued. I love the cheerful intense orange.

    The bunny is perfect, and the bouclé yarn was a great choice. I like the little scarf too. :)
