Summer Sprinkler, Swings, & Squares

Young friends came to play today!
Great fun!

The cherry tree was strangely quiet
after a week of chirping celebration
while the birds feasted on this year's cherry crop .

And I completed some more squares for my Granny Square blanket.

What is new with you?

Hugs from Gracie :)

  1. Gracie, looks like a lovely day. I am having a quiet one today, some tea, the paper to read. Some gardening and then maybe a row or two of knitting.
    Hugs,

  2. Hello Gracie..hope you day is well..looks like you all had a wonderful day..That cherry tree is HUGE..and beautiful! I am up early today...all the rain woke me up! Raining like crazy here in Louisiana, and has been for 3days now! Needed to do some shopping, so if the weather slows down just a bit...we are headed to the" WalMart" and then this evening I have to finish my bunnies for my friend and I am in the mood to make a quilt so I might try and find some fabric and do that and give my wrist a little rest from all the circles that I have been twisting and turning!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
    XOXOXO---SHARI!

  6. It looks as though you had a really lovely summers day Gracie. Not many of those here at the moment. It's rain, rain and more rain. This morning not too bad (Sat) but it has gone darker now. I'm off to a concert this evening with my Auntie. Anne x

  8. What a beautiful summery post, how generous of you to let the birds feast on your cherries. I used to have an old apple tree that the 'starlings' feasted in. :) xxx
