I enjoy this journal idea. I saw it on her site, myself, but I have many "partial" journals. I have a problem staying with it for more than a month or so. A young friend of mine introduced me to a blog idea, where you post 10 or 20 reasons your are thankful. My greatest problem is that I start doubling up reasons on the same number, as I don't stop! Which is a nice problem to have. I enjoy your blog. Just found it the other night. Thanks for sharing today. ShelleyJo
Welcome, ShelleyJo, I just visited your blog and look forward to visiting again to get to know you better! I am sorry I missed it if you mentioned it, but in what part of the world do you live? Gracie <3
You have inspired me to get another journal going! I love your sweet backhand cursive writing. I'm afraid I have not been too cheerful this past week, having been so sick and all. But I am so very cheerful at the prospect of feeling much better for next week! And if I had to pick one cheerful thing, it would be having finished my Jubilee blanket last week!!! Hugs to you my Northwest friend. Kris
I think those a wonderful things to be thankful for. I am thankful it is raining a monsoon out today so I can be cozy inside and knit away. I would be thankful for that Stylecraft yarn, too! Hugs, Meredith
Hello Grace I have many reasons at the moment to be cheerful here are some. I spent
Wednesday until today with my eldest son and his family. Today we all met up with my youngest son and family and enjoyed a fun time including an indoor picnic to celebrate my eldest grandson's 7th birthday. Also glad that all was well on our return home and that DH has thoroughly spoiled me this evening. Loved reading your list of reasons thankyou for sharing. Anne x
Yet another lovely post...I really enjoy reading your journal and all the things that make you happy :) It's a wonderful idea and I am now on the lookout for a beautiful journal of my own x x
Hello Grace What a lovely cheerful post, and what a great idea to keep such a happy journal. It does make you feel better to think positive thoughts, and there is always something to be happy about :) I'm glad you are feeling creative and have some time to enjoy it. Wishing you lots of happy moments this week! Helen x
Thanks for making the time to visit, Helen! I really enjoy visiting your lovely blog, and getting to know you through it. You always give me cause to feel cheerful as I view and read about what you have been creatively doing :) Joy to you and yours, Gracie
It is fun, Barbara! I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know you through your blog! I read through some of your life story last night and look forward to reading it all! Should you ever be curious I have posted a page on the right column of my blog entitled *Louis*. I typed it after my husband of 38 years died in 2009. Much of what I typed was read at a time of celebration of his life that was held with some family members and friends months after he died. I tried to describe his relationship with God...which reflects my relationship with God as well. God's love, His presence in life is so amazing!!! :) I am so glad you decided to blog and I feel blessed to view and read it. Joy to you and yours, Gracie
What a lovely post :D Reasons I've had to be feel cheerful ... two of my whippets have birthdays this week :D Silly isn't it, celebrating a dog's birthday, but we do!
Annie, how lovely to have furry friends whose births you can celebrate! We have two loved dogs in our household and they truly are faithful friends ever ready to gladly greet us and enjoy our company. Something to celebrate in deed :) Joy to you and yours, Gracie
Hello Gracie, thank you for your kids comments over at my blog. I love this post! I am guilty of hoarding blank notebooks that I don't want to "spoil". I love how you've kept yours as a diary with little illustrations to remind you of good things. I am going to have a looks at Kate's blog too. Gillian x
What a wonderful idea...to build a journal like that. It has made me feel happy reading your reasons to be cheerful so it must be great for you! :) x
