Knit . . .Knit . . .Knit !!!

Monday I was inspired to buy 6 skeins of Musique Crystal Palace Yarn to knit a shawl as a gift for my MIL for Mother's Day.

All week I knit knit knit the acrylic-wool-cotton yarn in a simple garter pattern on size 11 circular Knit Picks Harmony Wood needles.

One night my oldest daughter knit a few rows and prayed a few words of blessing on her grandma and we talked about wanting my MIL to feel our love and hugs every time she used the shawl. We have lived many miles from each other for most of our years.
Friday afternoon at 4:59 pm I mailed the shawl and was told it should arrive on Monday .

Happy Mother's Day every day, Mom!
