Happy New Year!

Ahoy, You!
While I am posting just about four miles from the location I last posted, I am in a different county and a different and interesting season of my life that I find exciting!

I have been in the condo for about a week and am having fun with family and friends getting settled in.  In unpacking, I found this beautiful old tablecloth whose history I do not know.  I am amazed by the amount of effort and skill it must have taken to make it, however!

So much detail!

And the craft room is coming together!
Whatever your circumstances may be I hope you enjoy creatively crafting your time.

After nearly nine years of happily living in community with much of my family, we are each at various stages of launching on our own with all sorts of interesting possibilities ahead of us!

I am aimed "...reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

Are you launching into any special crafting projects?  I am so excited by the numerous possible choices I have found as I unpacked!

Blessings to you and yours!
Gracie xx

  5. Happy New Year dear Gracie. I'm so happy to hear about your new home. What a beautiful craft room! Wishing you all the best for the new year. Pat 🤗♥️🤗

  6. Congrats on your new place! May it be a source of blessing to you and those that visit there. LOVE your craft room! No crafting plans, but some tentative travel plans and the desire to continue organizing/getting rid of unnecessary items.
May God bless and be with you and yours in 2019😊

  7. This is your year to fly Gracie! Remember you are loved. Happy 2019!

  8. Hi Gracie.. waving at you in your new home from over here at my old one! I'm so glad I got to see your new home and know where you are for the next time I come to visit. Maybe we can hang out and crochet together or maybe even watercolor paint. Do you have all your boxes unpacked yet? What a big project a move is! You've worked so hard over this past year to ready your house for sale then to get the sale done and then find a new place.. whew.. I can't even imagine. Do you plan to get back into swimming? Let me know.

  9. Happy new year Gracie and blessings to you. I have a tablecloth on table in city for xmas and it is very like yours.....so much work put into it, just lovely xoxoxo

  10. Happy New Year Gracie, and courage for this new season.

But have to confess that I have no idea what a "condo" is...... a flat maybe?

    1. a flat on leased land as opposed to a townhouse [flat] where you own the land on which it is :)

  11. Hello Gracie. A very Happy New Year to you. Congratulations on moving into your new home. I wish you every happiness there. The table cloth is beautiful!
I am hoping to start some new projects. I shall continue with my paper crafting but have a knitting and two sewing ones in mind - wish me luck. Anne x

  12. oh yes Gracie, it must be lovely to re kindle with craft items boxed up for a long time. When you have laid it out on your shelves like that it does look so inviting to choose a new project. I hope you get settled in soon. Jo xxx

  13. Glad you are getting settled in your new condo! Your craft room looks nice! I should remove a bunch of books from shelves we have and put things in there. Good idea! I'm downsizing slowly and getting rid of things I don't use any more. I have plans already in place for this year's craft work. One for sure that's partially worked on...my daughter's quilt! Take care and enjoy your new abode and God bless you my friend!

  14. Wow. Thats a wonderful organized craft wall"

  15. Happy New Year, Gracie! May 2019 be the best year yet. I've been sorting through my UFOs and working on them all the while trying hard not to start anything new. Love your craft room; my stuff is stashed all over the house!

  16. Just catching up Gracie, so was thrilled to read that you have finally moved into your Condo. Congratulations, wishing you lots of wonderful times ahead in your new home. 17. Congratulations on your move, hoping you will be very happy there. Can you still see any distant views of Mount Hood? I love the old tablecloth and your new craft room, I'm sure it will inspire many new projects. Sarah x
