but why I made it, examining the thoughts that accompany creativity and the act of making."

One Clear Day

A film of ice encased my car this morning. Once the car thawed out I drove to church and after church  I drove toward Mt. Hood.  I HAD to! It was sooooo Brrrrreautiful :)  I wanted to share it with you, and show you the film of ice on the front pond and the last bloom of our 2012 garden, a red hollyhock.  Will the scarlet buds on the geraniums in my window box survive the last day of 2012 and be my first blooms of 2013?
I am off to start a pot of tea, to warm up and curl up to knit some more on my merino blanket :)

***Happy New Year***

    1. Thanks, Teresa. The first two shots are from the parking lot by the cinema in Sandy. The third is from Jonsrud overlook. I am not sure about where I took the fourth, but I think it was from the parking lot at the West Orient Elementary school on 302nd. It was such a fabulous day it is a wonder I did not drive off the road trying to find a place to stop to take pictures :)

  3. Wonderful pictures of Mt. Hood Gracie. I feel like I can almost touch the snow. I was also admiring it on our drive home from church today. It was so beautiful against the deep blue sky.

Enjoy your tea and stay warm.
    Blessings,

Hot tea or apple cider sounds delightful--and a wool blanket too!
