Half a Sunny Day

The sun beckoned me to capture it's light on the front pond this morning
on my way out the driveway .

Then on the way home it lured me to stop to try to capture it's glow
on Mt. Hood .

The clouds have rolled back in , but half a day of sun
was fun , as I look forward to this weekend
and good time with family and friends .

Have you special plans?

  1. Hi Gracie! Nice shots of the "Hood". I saw it from LA Fitness and it was gorgeous and icy blue. We've been invited to our son's house on Sunday. Tomorrow I need to catch up on some paper work type things. This Wed is my basket class at DFAS! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  3. Hello love the photos and how wonderful to be able to see Mount Hood from where you live. This weekend I have been to cardmaking at the craft barn. My friend loved her bag. This afternoon we went to friends to catch up and fix a date for a meal out together. Tomorrow I am baking a cake for my son's birthday. My DIL as asked me to so that's ok. Anne x

  4. Hello again Sugarcraft is all about cake decorating and a bit more as well. I have made models, flowers, sort of card , a garland, country scene, a water pump with a stone wall and ducks and geese. A lot more besides.
There are some posts with some of the things I have done. If you look into 2011 posts around Christmas time there is a cake I decorate- it is a fruitcake and everything is made from sugarpaste or modelling paste. Anne x

  5. Hi Gracie,
Beautiful shots of The Hood! ;) We have had snow the past two Thursdays, but it is what I call a Colorado snow...here today, gone tomorrow...the most unusual winter I have ever experienced. We are awaiting more snow tomorrow...kind of reminds me of last year -- every Tuesday is snowed, but A LOT more! Only expect 1-3 before is turns to rain...more CO snow.

Your place looks so peaceful...nice breathing spaces.

    Love you and miss you!
