"I started photographing my domestic world and writing not just about what I had made,
but why I made it, examining the thoughts that accompany creativity and the act of making."

Aging Well...Blogging

I am so excited each time I learn something new in the mechanics of blogging!  Not many days ago I realized that
often if you read a comment you like, on a blog that you like, you can click on the name of the one who left the comment  and zap through cyber-space to meet them on their blog.  WOW...COMMUNITY...MEETING FOLKS FROM AROUND THE WORLD without the cost and fuss of planes, trains, and autos.

Rebekka read one of my blog entries AND LEFT A COMMENT!!! WOOHOO!!! I like comments...they help me feel that my degree in speech-communications earned 36 years ago is still bearing fruit in my 60+ year old life! It is my life goal to communicate love in any way I can, but it is difficult to know if I am succeeding unless I receive comments, so I am very thankful when I do receive them!
Rebekka is a graphic artist who just finished doing some lovely work on  this site.

The site is of special interest to me because some of my family members and I have worked in the home healthcare industry.  I spent a few years as an administrator/caregiver in a five bed eldercare facility.  I met some wonderful folks in the process and learned many practical things about eldercare.  However, my sisters and I had to find care for my parents in the years before they died, and we could have benefited from the information shared on the Home Care site, so I hope that those who read this will check out the site and be helped by what they learn from it.

  1. It is wonderful to get comments on our blogs. My sons give me feedback via instant messages on the computer. These and a few others on my blogs make my day! (PS...just realized those stroller bags were for the girls toy strollers soooo cute!!)

    1. The husband of one of my new blogging friends was able to tell me how to set up my comments so that anyone can comment, and now I can reply to comments, too. I am so excited!
