Faith

Viewing this sunrise from my bedroom window recently reminded me of  of some verses here that fuel my faith with hope and peace.

Then a few days ago someone sent me a link to a new to me modern Christian worship song, "Praise to the King" by Corey Voss that expresses some of the amazement, peace, and hope I feel about life as I reach out to know God through Christ.

How is your life impacted by faith?

  7. I have heard the song before. Your pretty photo looks just like the one in the video. Faith and hope go hand in hand and we all need both; faith in the future and hope for today. Blessings to you and yours.

  9. Faith helps me believe in a brighter tomorrow. Even though the world is a mess, and things don't always go "right" in life, I know God is in control, and he works everything out for the good of those who love Him. And one day He is coming again to bring justice and light. It's good to love Jesus, and to know He loves you. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Thanks for sharing the lovely sunrise and beautiful verses! Take care, Gracie!

Im growing in my faith. Im blessed with a wonderful life. I try to practice gratittude each night as I retire and pray

  11. Hi Gracie, I hope you had a good Easter with your family. For me, faith is the best way to deal with life's difficulties and disappointments. I know that with hard work and the grace of God, I can make things better in my life and in the lives of others. I hope you have a good week.

  12. Faith is just not a word that I hear in my religious world of Reconstructionist Judaism. I think that for me, it's the wisdom and community that carry me through.
