"I started photographing my domestic world and writing not just about what I had made,
but why I made it, examining the thoughts that accompany creativity and the act of making."

Viewing this sunrise from my bedroom window recently reminded me of  of some verses here that fuel my faith with hope and peace.

Then a few days ago someone sent me a link to a new to me modern Christian worship song, "Praise to the King" by Corey Voss that expresses some of the amazement, peace, and hope I feel about life as I reach out to know God through Christ.

How is your life impacted by faith?

Gracie xx

  1. I can't imagine trying to go through this life without Jesus by my side. How happy and joyful I am as I serves a risen Savior. I hope you have a wonderful Ressurection Sunday Gracie.

  2. My life is impacted by my wonderful friends like you. Thank you for being my friend.

    ❀.•❤•.✿.•❤ Happy Easter! ❀.•❤•.✿.•❤

    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  3. Happy Easter Gracie. I have a strong spiritual side I don't often show, and a strong love for friends like you.

  4. Happy Easter dear Gracie. The pastor today spoke of how Christ is the keystone. I think that is how he is in my life. Wishing you all the blessings of this joyous day. Hugs, Pat

  5. Like Betsy,I can't imagine how I could get through life without the Lord. My faith is my life. I have a faith, not a religion.....there is quite a difference.
    Easter blessings Gracies

  6. I feel the same as Joy, I have a faith, not a religion. I love God with all my heart, mind and soul. He is my life and strength. Your sunrise was beautiful! Love to you, Gracie xx

  7. I have heard the song before. Your pretty photo looks just like the one in the video. Faith and hope go hand in hand and we all need both; faith in the future and hope for today. Blessings to you and yours.

  8. I have a loving faith that supports me in everyday life. A strong love for my family and dear friends. Take care.

  9. Faith helps me believe in a brighter tomorrow. Even though the world is a mess, and things don't always go "right" in life, I know God is in control, and he works everything out for the good of those who love Him. And one day He is coming again to bring justice and light. It's good to love Jesus, and to know He loves you. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Thanks for sharing the lovely sunrise and beautiful verses! Take care, Gracie!

  10. Great question Gracie. My mother was devoted in her faith and during this time of her trials with alzheimers it sustains me. I rarely go to church but I do Pray daily and feel spiritual. Im growing in my faith. Im blessed with a wonderful life. I try to practice gratittude each night as I retire and pray

  11. Hi Gracie, I hope you had a good Easter with your family. For me, faith is the best way to deal with life's difficulties and disappointments. I know that with hard work and the grace of God, I can make things better in my life and in the lives of others. I hope you have a good week.

  12. Faith is just not a word that I hear in my religious world of Reconstructionist Judaism. I think that for me, it's the wisdom and community that carry me through.

  13. Hello Gracie. My faith, belief in God influences my behaviour and interaction with others. God Bless you. X

  14. Grace hides in everyday places, we just need to stop and look.
