"I started photographing my domestic world and writing not just about what I had made,
but why I made it, examining the thoughts that accompany creativity and the act of making."

Lavender Lambiekins

She was peeking at us from my last post.
Did you see her then?
Can you see her now?

Meet Lavender Lambiekins!

Kind and helpful Lavender Lamiekins is providing service as a
warm compress for my elevated right arm
while I take anti-biotics and trust the Father for healing.

I thought I was going to a 1st Wednesday Spinning gathering at
then swimming
then 1st Wednesday Service at church

Instead I wound a little skein of red thread into a ball at Kaiser
so that I could crochet some more hearts
until the NP told me what she wanted me to do to get better.

And now I am at home
doing my best to catch healing

and be a one-handed blogger. <3

  1. How disappointing! Get all better soooon! ♥ Katie

  2. I am just so very sorry that your wonderful plans were not able to be enjoyed by you. And I'm sorry about the pain you're having to go through. Not fair at all. ((hugs)) I hope you get well very very fast. ((hugs)), Teresa

    1. Thank you, Teresa. I'm headed back to Kaiser for a recheck at 2:20 and hoping for a good report! At least the drive in the sunshine will be a joy. Hope you are having fun in the sun, too!

  3. Be healed in Jesus name! Love you!

  4. Hello hope that you are healing. I am visiting your blog via Teresa's blog. Anne x
