"I started photographing my domestic world and writing not just about what I had made,
but why I made it, examining the thoughts that accompany creativity and the act of making."
Jane Brocket from The Gentle Art of Domesticity p. 189 UK edition

Five on Friday: *~; Snow Day;~*

Amaryllis, Christmas Cactus, Green Shamrock, Geraniums, Purple Shamrock
protected from the fiercely falling snow

The accumulated snow before the  rain arrived. See the freezing front pond in the left back of the photo?

My youngest son crouched down to get this photo of the ice crystals in the front garden  ...an ice forest!

Inside I have been crocheting some Christmas wreath ornaments with size 10 crochet thread.

And I have been keeping warm and making and eating soup by the fireside.

Thanks to Amy from her blog, Love Made My Home, I am linking to share Five on Friday and wondering, "Do you have Five on Friday to share?"

Wishing you good days whatever the weather may be where you are 😊
